FAQCommercial production
Before we get started.
What does NW Collective produce?
Commercials and brand films for agencies and brands, including work for broadcast, connected TV, online video, and paid social. See capabilities.
Do you work with advertising agencies?
Yes. We collaborate with creative teams and producers, working from approved scripts and boards or helping shape the production approach earlier in the process. See how we work with agencies.
What does full-service production include?
Creative development, pre-production, casting, locations, crew, production management, filming, editing, color, sound, motion graphics, and delivery. Plenty of shops do one of those stages well. We do all of it, so the team that shapes the idea is the team that finishes the film. Specific responsibilities and deliverables are defined in the project scope.
Can you work with our existing director or editor?
Yes. We can scope our role around the team you already have in place.
Do you produce CTV commercials?
Yes. We produce commercials for connected TV and streaming placements, coordinating deliverables with your agency or media team. We establish the required versions, usage, and delivery specifications before production.
Where do you work?
We're based in Bend, Oregon, and produce for agencies and brands in Portland and nationwide.
What budget should we plan for?
Budget depends on the creative, cast, locations, shoot schedule, usage, and post-production scope. Share your target production budget with the brief so we can discuss a realistic approach. Media spend should be considered separately.
How long does a production take?
Timing depends on the scope, casting and locations, approvals, and post-production requirements. Tell us your launch date early so we can work backward to a practical schedule.
Can you deliver different lengths and formats?
Yes. We plan agreed cutdowns, alternate versions, and aspect ratios as part of the production scope.
What do you need to prepare a bid?
Nothing has to be final. A script or boards, target budget, schedule, deliverables, intended usage, and any collaborators already attached all help us quote faster. If you're still in early planning, send what you have and we'll help identify what still needs to be decided. The earlier we talk, the more room there is to shape the project around your timeline.
